I studied Fine art and Art history at the University of Central Lancashire in 1995, specialising in painting practice. My subject matter was human physicality and spirituality, influences at the time were Bacon, Auerbach, Freud, Titian, Velasquez. I benefited from an erasmus exchange to Lisbon in 1994 which had a strong influence on my work
